Immediate Need for Production Operator in Cannon Falls, MN
SHIFTS: 10:00pm - 6:00am (Monday-Friday)
PAY: $20.50/HR
Responsibilities:
- Insures that all processes are followed according to job routers, process specifications, engineering change orders (ECO’s), and standard work procedures in a safe operating manner.
- Insures that all required quality testing gets completed within product specification and documented appropriately with the actual test results reading.
- Performs and records all transactions and Labor Reporting accurately.
- Uses the inventory tracking tools appropriately, and labels all products to the process specifications.
- Transacts inventory before physical process action.
- Brings inventory discrepancies forward to the cell coordinator, lead or manager and helps investigate and resolve.
- Reports all non-conforming products to the cell coordinator, lead or manager. Provides input infilling out the NCR form for all non-conforming materials and places material in the assigned non-conforming materials area.
- Ensures work area is clean and organized to 5S standards and that a professional pass down is given to the oncoming shift operator.
- Helps to build and foster teamwork across all shifts treating everyone with respect and dignity.
- Maintains a professional positive attitude while at work.
- Is active in providing ideas and supporting process improvements that help enable the cell to grow upon its annual goals. 10. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- Valid forklift certification and proven sit-down forklift experience
- Can use or become qualified to use various specialized tools (Mic’s, Tape Measures, Scales, OGP, CMM, Thermal Tester, Peel Tester, etc)
- Can convert U.S standards in metric measurements and weights.
- Mechanical aptitude to support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) within assigned area.
Qualifications:
- Will routinely run one or more operational pieces of equipment associated within the Gap Pad Cellular processing area (Kitting, Sheeting, Press 0, PX 5 & 7, PX 6, PX0, PX and Streuder Coaters)
- Performs most assignments totally independent.
- As employee’s knowledge increases over time little to no supervision will be required to perform daily activities.
- Works in a personable and professional manner and communicates in a professional and tactful manner to build teamwork across the shifts.
- Takes initiative and moves to the work before being told.
- Is flexible to meet business needs across all cells.
- Willing to learn new tasks or job responsibilities.

You’re paid on Friday for the prior week worked. We pay using the Comdata Payroll Card.
